Apartments Opsenica

Warning!! The host is a real con artist!! The apartments and grounds didn’t look like the photos. The yard was dirty, with dog feces and trash everywhere. The pool and hot tub weren’t ready when we arrived, and my children weren’t allowed to use them. Each time the landlord came over, he made a fuss because apparently everything needed cleaning. We weren’t allowed to switch on the lights in the barbecue area in the evenings. When we asked what we’d paid for and requested our money back, he, his wife, and daughter became violent. I had to call the police and an ambulance three times after the family threatened and attacked me. My 14-year-old son and I were beaten, in front of my younger children. The police and a doctor documented everything!! We had to leave the apartment after three days because our lives were in danger. His wife and daughter were fined. I still haven’t received a refund. I’m forwarding the police reports, photographs of the apartment and grounds, and the inspector’s report to my lawyer in Germany. My children and I are psychologically traumatized!! Please be careful!!

We’ve come back for a second stay and had a lovely time again. The place is roomy and comfortable, and sitting on the terrace with the sea in view was a highlight. The owners were kind and ready to help with whatever we needed. Our vacation went by so quickly. Until next time! 😊

Our August 2024 stay was a disaster. We booked and paid for 14 days, but left after just three because, after we confronted the landlord, he, his wife, and daughter attacked us. The pool wasn’t ready, there was rubbish and dog feces in the yard, the furniture was broken, and the shower didn’t work. The apartment looked nothing like the photos or description, and we never got our money back. I’d stay away; it wasn’t worth paying for.

We’ve been returning for years because this place feels like home and is so relaxing. The apartment has all the comforts you could want, and the owners do their best to make you feel at ease and are there when you need them. They really open their hearts to you. Alexandar is happy to offer advice or help with anything on the island 💓
