The view was great and the people were nice. I liked the rooms too.

The terrace was a lovely place to spend the evening, with a magnificent view. The beach area was clean and pleasantly tucked away from the walkway by palm trees, and the loungers were comfortable and tidy. You can rent SUPs right from the host. Our room was clean, and the whole house was very well cared for. The furnishings are a little dated, but in excellent shape. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, and my dog was warmly welcomed and clearly enjoyed the stay. The hosts made us feel at home straight away. The old town is easy to reach by bike, especially nice in the evening. We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back!

For a boating holiday, the location is ideal. Even without a boat, the waterfront lounge and what feels like a private beach make this a much better option than other guesthouses or holiday apartments. The owners take care of everything themselves and are incredibly helpful, doing all they can to make the holiday a good one. Breakfast was perfectly sufficient, nothing was missing, and the value for money is unbeatable. I don’t think this will be my last visit. Highly recommended! :-) :-)

The setting is beautiful, right by the sea, and the hosts are lovely. It’s about 10 meters to the water, with a hotel jetty, loungers and parasols between two small boat moorings. Steps lead into the sea, and there’s a little sandy beach where dogs are allowed too. The old town and harbor are around five minutes away by car, with a gas station and supermarket close by. We enjoyed strolling around the old town, eating, getting ice cream and having a drink. It gets lively in the evenings. You can take a taxi from there to Euphemia Bay or book boat trips to Mari Lusijn Island. We paid €360 in total for two people in a double room for five nights, including breakfast, during the last week of August. We could bring our dog for an extra €15 per night. Parking was free, though rather cramped. The room was small but had what we needed, including fast-cooling air conditioning and a refrigerator. There was a little balcony, a modest bathroom with a shower, and even another bed up near the ceiling, reached by ladder. Our dog settled comfortably in a small alcove. The room was lovely, though housekeeping could have been better. There was no toilet paper when we arrived, so we bought some ourselves. We didn’t get fresh towels or bedding during the five days, and the same crumpled duvet stayed on the bed. The trash was emptied, at least. Breakfast was simple and small, but had enough. It isn’t replenished very often, so get there by 8:00 AM. We had a really lovely holiday and would be happy to come back! :-)
