Villa Agata Rab - Apartments

We stayed in the two bedroom apartment on the second floor and will definitely book it again next time! Villa Agata is a great place to stay on the island, with beautiful views and a garden, clean and well maintained rooms and spaces, and beaches nearby. The apartment had air conditioning, plenty of room to park, and a pool and sauna, which were a huge bonus. The hosts were exceptional. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere great to stay.

The hillside location near Gonar was so peaceful, and we loved the little coves, about a 10-minute walk away. They had the seaside feel we look for on holiday. Gonar beach is also about a 10-minute walk if you want more facilities, like restaurants or a diving base. Anna and Marin were friendly, helpful hosts, always ready with advice. We stayed at Villa Agata, apartment 1, this July. It was comfortable and spacious enough for our family of two adults and four children, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The garden was beautiful and well cared for, though we spent most of our time relaxing on the terrace.

We came as a family and absolutely loved the peaceful location, the lovely sea views, and the fact it wasn’t crowded with tourists. It feels like a tucked away little gem, yet restaurants and shops aren’t too far. Marin & Anna gave us a warm welcome with freshly picked grapes, figs 😍 and wine, and were always there when we needed help or advice. One evening they even set up the sauna for us with aromatherapy oils and relaxing music. This was one of the best holidays we’ve ever had. We found friends in Marin and Anna, and I’d love to bring my whole family back one day and see them again 💙 Thank you both 💙

The hosts were so lovely and friendly, and had great insider tips. Everything felt just right for a proper holiday, and we’d love to return next year. We especially enjoyed the wonderful quiet at this residence. You can lounge in the lovely garden or walk five minutes to the beach. Perfect location. Top top top! :-)
