Agrotourism Kalpic

The sisters' hospitality was amazing, and the restaurant suggestions they gave me were excellent. I went to one of the places on their list and the meal was stunning. Food options here are fairly limited at the moment, so it's good to have a plan for the day, or be happy to take it easy. After a very busy day at Krka nationalPark, just a few minutes away by car, this quiet rural farm was exactly what I needed. It's beautifully kept and has been converted into guest apartments and suites. There are sweetwater and saltwater pools, plus a sauna, gym, and parking. A lovely place to return to, whether for one night or a longer stay.

We were a family, and the evening meal was probably the best we've ever had together. The accommodation was modern and spotlessly clean, with a warm welcome and excellent wine grown on the estate. It's quite far off the beaten path, but worth the drive if you're spending a few days visiting Croatia's national parks.

The breakfast was delicious, with homemade cakes and pastries, cheese, sausages, and bread. As a vegan, I also had plenty to choose from, including grilled vegetables, fried bread, ajvar, fruit, salad, and oat milk. When I asked what else I could eat, they made a few extra things and even brought out a surprise raw vegan cake from the freezer. So thoughtful. The room was clean and cozy, though a little small, and had a balcony. Outside, there's a comfortable breakfast area, cute cats wandering around, and a refreshing pool. Everyone was kind and welcoming, and I'd gladly stay here again if I return to the area. We'd planned to try one night in September after calling about a room. They told us there was a fairly loud group staying, which I appreciated knowing before deciding. We liked the place enough to extend our stay for a couple of days. It's remote and peaceful, away from busy tourist spots, so you'll need a car. From there it's easy to get to Šibenik, Skradin, Krka national park, and other places. They also shared useful advice on which parts of Krka to see and when to go, along with lots of nearby restaurant recommendations.

The homemade buffet breakfast was mouthwatering, and there was so much food prepared each morning for us and the other guests. Ivana, Anita, and their team made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and throughout the stay. The property has a nice pool, sauna, jacuzzi, and a few machines and weights for a workout. If you're visiting Krka National Park, staying at Agrotourism Kalpic is a great choice. We were glad we booked.
