Boutique Hotel Life

The food was a real highlight. Breakfast was probably the best we’ve had in Croatia so far, and dinner was delicious. The hotel itself was lovely, with large, very clean rooms, an indoor pool, and an outdoor pool. The sea is only 20 meters away, and the hotel provides sunbeds, umbrellas, and beach towels. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and ready to assist. We had a great vacation here. Definitely try the food!

The decor feels a bit dated, but it gives the place a lot of charm. It’s a really nice hotel in a quiet part of town, close to a small private beach, and the people were lovely. I don’t think you’d be disappointed.

The water was clean and amazing, though getting into the beach is rocky. There are only six sunbeds and three umbrellas, and they’re usually taken, so you have to ask for one. Walking to the right may lead you to a more secluded beach with an easier entrance. Breakfast was ordinary, nothing special. The half-board dinner came with small cold and hot starters chosen by the kitchen, then a choice of fish, meat, or vegetarian main. The kitchen makes very decent meals, so I’d skip half board and order à la carte instead. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows were very thin and need replacing. The safes in the rooms were broken, and there was no kettle or coffee maker. Reception rated 4/5: in my opinion, they weren’t honest about the broken sauna. Why not say it doesn’t operate in summer? For this price, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

We had a great first stay and will be back. The staff were super friendly, breakfast was great, and chef Dragan made special vegetarian meals when we asked. We could also switch dinner for lunch. There are three private beaches within 100 m, which worked perfectly with our four-year-old son. We could walk around and properly relax. If you’re not into big resorts, this boutique hotel is a great base for exploring. We’d recommend it 100%.
