The people running this place are really nice, and the apartment was super clean and comfortable. If you don't mind walking about 1.5 km to the city center or beach, I'd recommend it ;)

The host was nice, but the pictures didn't really match what we found in person. :( Booking vs Reality

The owner kindly offered to credit us for the two nights we hadn't enjoyed, and we really appreciate that. The apartment itself is in a quiet spot, handy for grocery shops and a good coffee. We were disappointed by the interior. There was no extractor hood for cooking, and it wasn't easy to sit somewhere comfortably warm or relax on the couch. The air conditioning was very dirty, and so was the bathroom cup. The photos say enough, so I won't go on about it. We were also let down by the bikes, both their availability and their quality.

We've stayed with Mladen twice now, and he's a lovely, friendly, thoughtful host. The apartment is clean and practical. It's a little way outside the city, but free bicycles are provided and they're great for seeing Rovinj and the surrounding area. Rental bikes cost quite a lot, so this saves you a good amount. We'll be back on our next trip to Rovinj.
