Guesthouse Bellavista

The main drawback was the parking. The listing said it was on-site, but the apartment is in a restricted traffic zone, and the closest lot is at least a kilometer away and usually paid. It wasn’t a major hassle during our stay, though parking was one reason we picked this place. There’s no elevator either, and the rooms are up three flights of stairs. Inside, the apartment was clean and spacious, with a fully equipped kitchenette. Our top-floor room was bright and quiet, though the bathroom sometimes smelled of sewage. We only stayed two nights, so it didn’t cause a serious problem. We never met the owners. For both check-in and check-out, we called when nobody was there, and a woman explained how to get in. Nobody asked us for identification. Even with those issues, it’s a good option if you don’t need a car close by or an elevator.

Right in the center of Rovinj, with a post office, Müller drugstore, bus station, bakery, shops, two banks, and plenty more nearby. The accommodation was at a very high standard and went beyond what I expected. The host was kind and accommodating. We didn’t get to meet them in person, but Antonije welcomed us and gave us a great tip for Dream restaurant. I’m very happy with our stay. See you again next year!

The beds were awful, the worst I’ve slept in for years. I can’t understand how anyone could rent them out. We stayed several days, and while the house was quiet and the apartment had a good layout, the beds were a complete disaster.

The neighborhood was peaceful and pleasant for a vacation, and it was easy to get into the apartment when we arrived. The place is modern and clean, with the city center conveniently close by.
