The landlady was wonderful when a lightning strike hit the phone line on our second day and damaged the electrical system, forcing us to leave. She took great care of us and found another place nearby. Before that, we’d enjoyed the lovely little apartment, its well-equipped kitchen, and the good communication, even with our limited German. One thing the online photos don’t make clear is that the upstairs second bedroom has no door or other separation like the first bedroom. We were able to get used to that.
