Luxury Apartment Fabris

Mira was so welcoming and flexible about our arrival time. She even offered to look after our bags until we left the city, and said we could keep the parking space until the next guests arrived. She made sure we had what we needed and was a lovely person to meet. I’d absolutely stay with her again when I’m back in town. The apartment was beautiful, with lovely furniture, a comfortable bed, air conditioning, and a small kitchen stocked with what we needed. It was super clean, which matters a lot to Mira. We hadn’t even thought we’d booked breakfast, but she asked us the night before what we wanted and when. In the morning she brought coffee or tea, bread, a cold plate with cheese and sausages, homemade marmalade that tasted great, and eggs cooked just how we asked. Pancakes filled with our choice of Nutella or marmalade came as a final round.

We stayed in the apartment for three nights. Mira was very welcoming and even helped us dry our clothes. The breakfasts were pretty much the same each day, with bread, cheese, ham, an omelette, and dessert, but everything tasted good and the portions were generous. The coffee especially was great, smoother than any I’ve ever had in China. I’d highly recommend this accommodation.

The apartment is right in Rovinj’s old town, near the harbor, with restaurants and shops close by. There’s a pharmacy, ATM, and bakery right around the corner, and a large nature and recreation area is also an easy walk away. It has lovely walking paths, little bays, and a small climbing garden, with spots along the way to grab a bite. Inside, the place is spacious, well kept, thoughtfully equipped with dishes and towels, and very clean. We felt comfortable there. The window faces a busy alley, but with it shut the noise stays outside, and during the low season we found the noise level fine. Payment is cash only. The hostess lives in the apartment next door and offers breakfast, including omelettes and coffee, at whatever time you choose. It was very tasty, and she was attentive to our comfort and made sure we had everything. Before arrival, we were given clear directions and parking information. The parking is on a plot under a tree, on natural ground, about a 4-5 minute walk away, and costs €10 per night. We also got a very warm and helpful welcome from the owner.

Great breakfast, a lovely place, and a really nice host. The location was great too.
