Resort Amarin Rooms

We had a large terrace, which was the one positive part of the apartment. The rest was a bad experience. We were there with our grandson and dog, and the standard apartment for 4 was cramped, certainly not suitable for four adults. The sofa supposedly slept two, but took up the whole living room. We had to fold it to fit the dog's bed, and then one person couldn't sleep comfortably on it. You had to go through the bedroom to reach the bathroom and toilet. The kitchen had little space and old furniture with broken doors, including the freezer door. After two complaints they brought another fridge, but repeated complaints didn't get the terrace door fixed. My husband had to sort out the shower drain himself because it wouldn't drain. Hygiene was very poor. Cleaners came only twice, didn't clean the bathroom at all, and once every six days they mopped the rooms with a damp mop they didn't rinse.

The sea was beautiful and crystal clear, and there was plenty for both adults and children to do. Our accommodation was comfortable, clean, and well cared for, and the food had a great variety with something for every taste. The staff were always smiling, kind, and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout. Our family really enjoyed the stay and would happily return.

The beach was nice and the location itself is great, but the rooms weren't for me and need updating. We had two rooms in one house, and mine smelled of sewage the whole time. The smell spread through the inside, and I think it came from a hole in the bathroom floor. The toilet was another problem: I had to flush it 3-9 times every time. I've never seen anything like that. I wouldn't recommend staying here, even though the location is excellent.

The food at Luminia was delicious, and the outdoor play areas for kids were great. But there isn't an indoor playground for guests like these. The first impression at the apartments reception in Rovinj was awful: the older blonde woman there was unpleasant and rude, didn't greet or smile, and didn't seem interested in helping with our request. The young woman in charge of the children's animation also showed little skill or genuine motivation to play with them.
