Staff were very helpful, and breakfast was good, with continental choices and a freshly cooked omelette. The hotel is about a 5-minute walk from the excellent restaurant...Il Faro and a Konzum supermarket, and roughly 15 minutes on foot to the harbour promenade and beach. Fiore cycling tours booked us here. When we arrived, the hostess set up a long extension lead so we could charge our ebikes. Our room was clean and had a good shower. The door needed both an electronic key card and a traditional key, which was unusual.

We found the hotel reasonably comfortable for the price, and parking right outside was convenient for arriving by car or taking day trips. It costs €12 per day. The neighborhood felt quiet and safe, and both the beach and city center are around a 15-20-minute walk away, so getting around town was easy without a car. Cleanliness was average rather than spotless. The room and bathroom were tidy enough, though the closets and mini bar fridge needed better cleaning. We also had to ask several times for basics like soap and towels. Staff did bring what we requested and were generally polite and helpful, but service could have been more proactive. For a longer stay, I'd consider bringing a few personal supplies. Breakfast was basic and could be better in variety and freshness. It was enough if you don't expect anything fancy, and did the job for a short visit, though the breakfast staff weren't especially friendly. This seems like a decent choice for a short stay, with location as its strongest point. A reasonable option if you're not planning to stay over a week.

After cycling in the rain for three hours and getting really cold, the “shower” was the last straw. It ran out of hot water twice, once that evening and again the next morning. The three of us also agreed the breakfast coffee was awful. The jar of instant coffee by the machine should have been a warning. I could overlook arriving in the afternoon to an empty reception, with the bell not working and a Croatian number needed to reach someone. I could also overlook our third-floor room when the elevator only went to the second floor, leaving us to carry our bags up one flight. The shower and coffee were too much.

We really liked Boutique Hotel Lili and would happily return. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, the location was great, and the staff were very polite. Breakfast offered plenty of choice, and the neighborhood was pleasantly quiet. Private parking was a big bonus. The spaces are a bit tight, but that's normal for Rovinj.
