Villa Pasis

I can't say much about the hotel overall, and perhaps my visit was just an unfortunate situation. The room I saw very briefly looked beautiful, and I'd heard lots of nice things about the hosts. The woman also drove us from the port to the hotel for free. I was visiting friends who were staying there, but the owner threw me out after five minutes. I had literally only used their toilet. The woman first said it was fine if I used the pool, then when her husband threw me out, she said guests weren't allowed. I would have understood the restriction if we'd caused trouble or if I'd stayed for hours, which isn't allowed in most places, but neither happened. They didn't explain anything and just turned me away from the property. They could have simply said I couldn't go into the rooms because of restrictions and suggested I wait in the lobby until my friends were ready.

The setting was beautiful, though it didn't really look like the pictures. Service could have been much better and more polite. Sadly, it didn't reflect the level of tourism you'd expect and experience in Istria.

We spent a week at Villa Pasis. The place was okay and the location alright, but for most of our stay there was no water in the shower. We asked many times to have it fixed and kept hearing "tomorrow, tomorrow". Water finally came on the last day. There was also a horrible garbage smell and noise from the other room, so we couldn't sleep well at all. A very bad experience. I wouldn't recommend this villa even to my worst enemy.

Everything was great, with fast, professional, high-quality service. The place is quiet, clean, tasty, very well thought out, not far from the center of Rovinj, and inexpensive too. The owner and staff were very friendly. Thanks for a great stay and great service!
