I found a lot of bedbugs in room 204, so be careful. I also can’t say whether it was because of my husband, but the man working there was very aggressive and mocked the guests.

The owners deserve five stars on their own. The lady and her mom are sweet, and they take good care of the hotel. The location, though, gets three stars at most. It’s a long way from the Old Town, beaches, lively spots, and the main bus station. You need a bus to get to any of them, and while the stop is nearby, each ride costs 2 euros one way. There are no bars, restaurants, or supermarkets close by. If you stay out late downtown, getting back by taxi can cost a bundle. The rooms and villa patio are basic, but tidy and clean. For an ordinary mid-sized room with an en-suite bathroom, three stars feels fair. Plain white walls give it a bit of a hospital feel, and the furniture is quite old-fashioned. There’s air-conditioning, a TV, an electric kettle, a socket mosquito killer, free Wi-Fi, and hot water around the clock. Rooms are cleaned daily.
