Camping Odmoree - Campsite

We spent five nights here with our camper. The site could be nice, but the little stones used on the roads make footsteps beside the camper very audible, especially at night. There are loads of mosquitoes too, so sitting outside in the evening is difficult, and there’s nowhere to go for an evening walk, even along the sea. The campsite is also a long way from town, shops and restaurants. They charge around 50 EUR for the reservation, and that amount is added on top instead of being taken off the final bill.

The staff were lovely, the site was exceptionally clean, and we never had to wait for a shower. The pool stayed uncrowded, and the bar had hot and cold drinks plus ice cream all day. It’s right beside a beach with calm water that felt safe for kids. Driving down to the site, though, means taking a steep road. We had a rough time with the tent pitch. It felt cramped, our big tent boxed in the neighbours, and the owners said that was our assigned spot. A holiday rental balcony looked straight onto our tent with very little space between, and its occupants kept us awake most nights. The site was meant to be quiet after 10pm, but often wasn’t. There were fireworks at 10pm one night and loud music from a beach festival until midnight another. Other reviews described it as very quiet, so maybe our stay was unusual.

The owners were engaged, friendly and always ready to help, and the staff were very professional and kind. We had a lovely few days and hope to return one day. Everything was very clean, from the bathrooms and toilets to the shaded pitches and the pool, which is just steps from your pitch. The location is great too, five steps from a small sandy beach and a 30-minute drive from Zadar.

We had a very quiet two nights here on Pag with our camper, and it suited the two of us well. There isn’t much for kids to do, but the small pool looks over the beach, and there’s a little bar for guests. The site has nine camper spots in total, plus tent pitches with room to spread out and views over the beach. Facilities were modern, clean and good. Camping Odmoree is a lovely small campsite, and I’d definitely recommend it.
