Villa Lea

Really great!

The airport is close enough that you can see and sometimes hear planes taking off and landing. It didn't bother us, and there aren't any flights at night. Our children actually found it exciting. Construction is still going on in the area, and a site nearby started up near the end of our stay. Our daughter was fascinated, and the host was clearly worried about us and apologized several times. The villa itself was beautiful and had everything we needed, including plenty for children without leaving the adults short of anything. The view was breathtaking. The host was friendly and accommodating, always available without being intrusive. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The pool was cleaned regularly and professionally, and the whirlpool water is completely changed after every guest, which you don't find everywhere. The last part of the access road is gravel at the moment, though it's expected to be paved soon. We felt very comfortable here and would happily book again.

We had a wonderful vacation here. The owners were friendly and accommodating, and showed us around in excellent German. There was room for 3-4 cars in front, though the driveway is open and has no gate. The outdoor area was well kept and everything worked properly. It has a non-heated saltwater pool, a heated hot tub for 6 people, a shower, and a barbecue area, with lovely views of the sea and Split. There's a ping-pong table in the garage and another outside. The small garden is idyllic, but isn't fenced. Inside, the modern house had everything we needed, including in the kitchen. All the rooms have air conditioning and blinds. The last 400 meters of the road are gravel, and hopefully that will be paved soon. You can hear planes clearly during the day, since the airport is very close and flights run from around 7:30 am to 11 pm. It was quite an experience at first, but after two days we stopped noticing. Nights were always quiet. There's a restaurant just down the road with incredibly good local food. Book ahead! Everything was exactly as pictured and absolutely top-notch. We spent a week at Villa Lea in Kaštela and would gladly come back. The place was beautiful, well cared for, and had everything we needed to relax. It's in a quiet spot but still close to what the region offers. Zlatko was a warm and welcoming host, always helpful and available, and made us feel at home. Thanks for a memorable stay!
