Hotel Lavica

We organised a wake at Lavica and had lovely food, excellent service, and a warm, intimate atmosphere. The homemade-style apple and cheese strudel was the best, with a real local taste. For a larger event, the per-person price was also great value.

We only stayed briefly, but it was lovely: clean, nicely presented, with a charming receptionist and a good breakfast. The hotel sits beside a pretty stream and is ideally placed for exploring the old town. I'd highly recommend it.

The staff were kind, and the rooms had decent space, but the beds felt really small. Noise was the biggest problem: even with the windows shut, I could hear the street and restaurant below, which made it hard to sleep. Breakfast was mediocre at best, so I’d eat somewhere else. The location is right in the city center, and there are plenty of parking spaces.

Mrs Jelena from Ukraine made the visit with her heartfelt, professional service. The restaurant in the center of Samobor has great food and the service was lovely. It’s a place full of history, and I’m looking forward to seeing her again when we come back to this favorite spot in Samobor.
