Villa Birds House Rovinj

It’s a nice, wild place with birds and nature, but don’t expect air conditioning, a dishwasher, or a washing machine. The cleaning was poor as well. And about the beaches nearby, if you’ve ever been to Greece, you’ll cry all holiday…

My highlights were the pool and the little hut with an air mattress. The villa is cozy, beautifully located, and not far from the sea. Everything was clean, with vintage furnishings throughout. There’s plenty of space outside, plus activities like volleyball and table tennis. For me, it’s an easy five-star villa! 👍

The one thing that let us down was the kitchen cleaning. Otherwise, the location and beautiful house were fantastic, with a huge secluded, fenced property, a large outdoor kitchen, pool, gazebo, barbecue, and shaded parking under trees. There are also sports and play facilities, free bicycles, and good Wi-Fi. The beach is only about 10 minutes away by bike, which was another plus.

The house looked beautiful and pleasant in theory, but the stay didn’t work out in practice. The roads there and nearby were awful, and with a family you need the car to get anywhere, putting the rental car at risk. There was no AC, so we slept terribly, and a lot of other things were ruined by that. Birds had made nests under the roof, leaving the area filthy, and we had to deal with two dead baby birds that fell out. There were so many insects, crabs, and mosquitoes that it was hard to relax. We couldn’t even open the doors to air the house without wildlife immediately getting inside.
