Guesthouse Mirko Hodak

The rooms were spacious, very clean, air-conditioned, and had everything we needed. The lakes are very close, and the hospitality felt genuinely Croatian. Our rooms were beside the breakfast and dinner room, so we could hear it clearly when people were using it. The owner was considerate, though, and guests tended to leave fairly early in the evening. We’d be glad to return someday.

There’s a nearby grocery store, and the host is very welcoming. If you’re traveling with kids, there are swings, football, and badminton outdoors. It’s quiet and cozy, and a great place to stay before visiting Plitvice Lakes the next day.

We had a balcony, which was nice. The rooms aren’t modern, but they’re clean and have what you need if you don’t need much. There’s no TV, though we didn’t miss having one. The girl was super nice and spoke English. Plitvička Jezera is very close, and it’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. Greetings :)

A clean room with its own bathroom, and a great base for visiting Plitvice. The hospitality was absolutely amazing.
