Apartments Agata

The apartment itself is lovely, well equipped, and in a good spot, but the parking and communication from the hosts mean we definitely won't return. Parking isn't possible outside the apartment. You have to leave the car several streets away by the fortress, up a seriously steep hill. The one-way street is so narrow that loading or unloading means blocking traffic. Someone local kept parking right at our door, so we had to pass luggage over the car roof to get it out. We could barely squeeze through the doorway.

You get a lovely castle view from this clean, pleasant apartment, and the center is only a few minutes away on foot. The mattresses were too soft for us. Kitchen gear included enough plates, glasses, and cutlery for four, plus a pot for pasta, a strainer, and a worn frying pan. There's a little terrace and a grill in the small garden. Beaches are several kilometers away. Getting to the apartment and parking calls for an experienced driver. The city has lots of narrow streets, hills, and stairs, though the beautiful view makes it worthwhile.

We stayed in the ground-floor apartment, with two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two singles. It's very close to the Old Town, and the owner was lovely. She even brought over a hairdryer when we found there wasn't one in the room. Everything felt new and clean. The kitchen has all the utensils needed to cook, including pots and a frying pan, though we only made breakfast. It also has a dishwasher, kettle, large fridge, induction cooktop, and a table for four. The bathroom was spotless and attractive, with a washing machine, a bowl I think is for washing small children, a big shower, and two sinks. Blankets and duvets are provided in the bedrooms. The air conditioning cools the whole apartment quickly, but the bedroom door needs to stay open since the unit is in the hallway. There are four chairs and a table on the terrace, a nice place for breakfast because the morning sun hasn't reached it yet. Private parking is about 400 meters away. I didn't take photos, but the apartment looks just like the photos on booking.com. A great place to relax, highly recommend.

We had a really good stay in this beautiful apartment. The owner gave us a very warm welcome, and both the sea and the center are within walking distance.
