Hotel Bozica

We spent a week here and wished we could have stayed longer, maybe next time! The airport transfers were efficient and made for a great start and finish to the holiday. Robert, our taxi driver, was especially good. The place is beautiful, with wonderful views, a calm and relaxing feel, excellent food, and friendly, attentive staff.

Sudurard is a lovely, quaint little town, just a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel. We made our own way to the island and Hotel Bozica, then used the hotel's airport transfer service when we left. The rooms were clean and had great facilities. Every staff member we met, from the cleaners and bartender to the restaurant and kitchen staff and receptionist, was helpful, spoke excellent English, and couldn't do enough for us. We had a fantastic stay, and I can't praise the hotel and its staff enough.

The quiet here is lovely, with no background music, just the sound of music from boats passing by. There wasn't any entertainment in May, probably because it was early in the season, though it would be nice to have some. The pool is very cold, so be prepared, and it's a shame it can't be heated. There are plenty of books in the bar, and you can ask to watch TV there. One evening we watched Eurovision, sometimes with other guests. The meals are generous too. By later in the week, my husband said he'd forgotten what being hungry felt like! 😆 We went last May and will be back this May. The panoramic views are stunning, and the rooms are comfortable, spotlessly clean, and refreshed daily. Breakfast was delicious, with eggs cooked how you like them; we'd recommend the omelettes. Lunch and dinner were just as good. We tried everything on the menu over the week, and my favourite was the Caesar salad. I tried the Sipan prawns, but they weren't for me. They came in a thick sauce and had to be de-shelled, so it was messy. Miro was such an attentive server, always smiling and suggesting meals and drinks. He even offered cocktails when we were on the terrace. George was wonderful too, attentive and accommodating, as were the other waiters, though I don't know their names. Katarina was an amazing host and generously upgraded our room last time, so we've booked one with a balcony and sea view this time. A few useful things: bring your own tea and coffee. You can ask for fresh milk downstairs each day to take to your room. They don't accept tips directly, but there's a big wooden box in the kitchen area where you can leave them daily or at the end of your stay. Even the cleaning staff won't take money left in the room. Go and see the other islands, and be sure to take the private boat. It's a treat! When we arrived at reception and saw the still water all around this beautiful, always spotless hotel, it literally took my breath away. I may have shed a few tears. I'm not usually emotional about holidays, but this one felt like a slice of heaven. My favourite place on earth, worth every penny. Can't wait to see you all again x x. X

For sailors, the hotel's service is excellent for boats moored there. Special thanks to the owner, who spent two hours working hard underwater on our stuck propeller. We paid a reasonable price for an excellent dinner, which included mooring, 24-hour access to restrooms and showers, a swimming pool, and water and electricity on the quay.
