Apartments Marija Franić

We spent our time walking the hills above Slatine and along the coast, and the sea was only about three minutes away. The water was clear, the pebble beach was tidy, and there were free showers, three beach bars, restaurants, and a bakery nearby. The apartment itself was clean, nicely furnished, and roomy enough for six. We could park two cars behind the gate right at the entrance. There was a balcony with a partial sea view and a shady garden seating area by the fireplace. Our hosts were warm and helpful, greeting us with beer and liquor and baking us excellent strudels during the stay. The apartment is in the last village before the tip of Čiovo, so there seemed to be less traffic than in villages closer to the bridge, though the drive by car on and off the island can be tricky because of the narrow roads and congestion. For the reasonable price, the value was really great, and I couldn't rate the stay more highly.
