We spent our honeymoon at Studio Maslac and had a lovely stay. The room was clean and nice, with a kitchen and direct access to a terrace that had a stunning city view. Most of all, the owner and host Zvonimir deserves praise. He was an amazing host, and I wish him all the best.

The owner was very welcoming, and the kiwi, orange and common terraces all had nice views. The property is high up on a hill, so expect to climb stairs going up and down, or pay for bus or taxi services.

We were thrilled with our stay. Zvonimir was a delight and made sure everything was right for guests. He pointed us to great places to eat and places to visit the best spots in Croatia. It's a very welcoming, friendly place, and good value for money.

Getting down to the sea means tackling 390 steps, so this place may not suit everyone. You can take a longer route back around the mountain; the climb is gentler and has almost no steps. Up top, the views of the sea, mountains and city are stunning. The rooms are cozy, clean, and thoughtfully set up, with a terrace, air conditioning, fresh towels and linens, plenty of tableware, and soft sun loungers. The host is very friendly and explains what you need to know.
