Villa Tina

We stayed the night before flying out of Split airport, and had a great stay. The room was a good size, with a big, comfortable bed. The food was very good and reasonably priced, and the sea views from the outdoor dining space, and some rooms, are lovely. It's a family-run boutique hotel, and the staff were friendly, especially Sonya, who served us at lunch and dinner.

The breakfast buffet was one of the highlights for me. There was loads to choose from, including salads with tuna, smoked salmon, couscous and vegetables, pastries, eggs, quiche, cheese and cold cuts, yogurt with granola, fruit, vegetables, coffee, and juice. Vegetarians and meat eaters should both find plenty. Sitting on the terrace with breakfast and coffee each morning was a treat. And after enjoying a dozen dinners here, I can happily recommend the whole menu. The fish soup is delicious. For an appetizer, I loved the ravioli with sheep cheese, shrimp, and truffles, and the octopus salad was lovely too. If you only have room for one, try the creamy ravioli. Our favorite main was the Beefsteak Vila Tina with mushroom and prosciutto sauce. We also enjoyed the pork in plum and red wine sauce, stuffed rump steak with ham and cheese, whole grilled Orada, and grilled lamb. The Croatian food and the service at Restaurant and Hotel Vila Tina were both fantastic. We loved how helpful and kind everyone at Hotel Vila Tina was. Communication was quick, check-in and check-out were easy, and they helped with our luggage. Housekeeping was efficient and accommodating, the stairs were easy to manage, and the recently remodeled bathrooms were really nice. There’s a sauna and jacuzzi on site for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. We stayed six nights, and the beds were the most comfortable I've slept in anywhere. I slept like a baby every night. The view is unforgettable, too. The hotel is about a 12-minute drive from the airport in Split, Croatia. Ten stars from us for the service, comfort, view, and food.

The staff were so welcoming and kind. We found the rooms very comfortable, and the restaurant food was tasty and great value. I'd happily recommend it.

Our room was small but clean and comfortable. It was right above the kitchen, though, so it was VERY noisy until about 10:15 pm. Thankfully the restaurant shuts at 10, and it was peaceful after that. There's a small beach a short walk away. To get to Trogir old town, you'll need to drive or take a cab.
