Rooms Beba

The owner had already switched on the room heater before we arrived, which was a welcome touch on chilly mid-October mornings and evenings. I stayed here before going to Rastoke, about a 15-20 minute walk away or under five minutes by car. There’s parking in front of the hostel. The owner was incredibly friendly, and the room and shared kitchen were both very clean and well kept.

The beds were cozy and very comfortable, and the cottage rooms are pleasant and handy for getting around. It takes about ten minutes to walk to the waterfalls and half an hour to drive to Plitvice Lakes. The furnishings are simple but fine for a night. The kitchen could use a few more appliances.

It’s quiet here, a little away from the main road and off the beaten path. In the mornings there’s a rooster, and the cats are around even at the end of July, as if it were March. Birds are welcome too. The apartment has room for four, with a bathroom and balcony, plus a small kitchen with a fridge, microwave, and electric stove. It works well for a stopover or as a base for trips to Plitvice Lakes.

The room was spacious and we got a very warm welcome. The kitchen isn’t part of the room, but it’s only a few steps away and we could eat there. They accept payment in euros. I’d highly recommend staying here.
