Ivan was fantastic throughout our Croatia trip and looked after all nine of us. When a wildfire broke out nearby, he arranged taxis since we couldn’t get back on foot, and even lined up alternative accommodation in case things got worse. The house has plenty of room for a group of nine, and we had a lot of fun in the pool on the hottest days. It’s easy to find, though away from the city centre. The views over Solin/Split are incredible. If you want a relaxing base outside the city while still enjoying what Croatia has to offer, this is a great choice.

The house has great views, and if you’re up for a walk, you can reach Klis fortress or the woods behind it. There are local shops about a 15-minute walk away, with what you need for a self-sufficient stay, and the building has all the amenities we needed. We had an incredible Airbnb stay. Ivan was attentive and looked after us well. Getting to Split was affordable by taxi if you can share the fare, or you can take a bus if you’re able to walk to the main road. I’d definitely stay here again, it was so enjoyable.

There’s plenty of parking for four cars, and the pool looks out over an amazing view. We also loved the roomy, light-filled house and the grill and terrace out back, especially for spending the afternoon there. There’s a jacuzzi right beside it too.
