The host was friendly and helpful, but I still wouldn’t recommend this stay. It didn’t feel private: she and her family were about 10 feet from our front door and window, and we could hear them a lot. She also came into our room almost every day without our knowledge or permission to switch off the A/C. We chose the place partly because of the A/C during a European heat wave, but the booking policy didn’t say it couldn’t be left on while we were out. The host said it was a fire hazard. We used it all night, so I’m not sure whether that was true. The refrigerator was broken for the entire stay, and we had to throw away groceries. Several facilities listed on Booking were missing or broken, including the refrigerator, TV and hairdryer, among others.
