Apartment Sunny

This was advertised as an apartment, but it was just a room, and the bed was too small for two. On the first night, the electricity went out and the kitchen gas wasn’t working. The next night there was no hot water. I showered cold, and even after 24 hours it was still cold. I contacted the landlords about it, but instead of checking things properly, they kept making excuses and saying I’d bothered them at night. They also blamed me for the water problem, suggesting I hadn’t waited long enough or had unplugged a charger. I only turned on the tap to shower, and the repeated accusations and messages, including after I’d moved out, made me feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. When I was leaving, the husband and wife came to the room together and told me I didn’t understand another country’s culture. They asked me to be quiet and listen to their excuses and blaming, like they were giving me a lecture. I found it strange and scary, especially as a woman travelling alone. I don’t think their behavior represents any country’s culture. The husband even said that shit happens and blamed me, saying there had been no problems before I moved in. For what they charged, I don’t think this was reasonable. They didn’t seem to check the room properly or take responsibility, and instead turned it back on the guest. The worst part was their attitude. Without the accusations and being told to sit quietly and listen, I would’ve given the feedback six stars. I can’t recommend this room.

The room had new furniture, and the location was good. The private bathroom was on the small side.

The landlord’s appliances had problems, including the kitchen, and there were power cuts. The rooms also felt cramped and too small. I wouldn’t recommend this place as an apartment, and think it should be called something else.
