Apartments Rooms PORAT

The view and the hospitality both deserve five stars 😁 I travelled on my own and the apartment suited me perfectly. It was clean and simple, with calming colours, a comfy bed, a small kitchen with what you actually need, a roomy bathroom with a window, a nice terrace, and space for luggage and clothes. The location in the old town is great, with several beaches an easy walk away and another right around the corner. The church, transport, promenade, restaurants, and shops are just a few minutes away. Don’t come expecting luxury or lots of space, but it’s comfortable and has the essentials. The guy who runs it is great. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets, too.

The beach just around the corner has clear water and an incredible view of the mountains and surrounding nature. Our room also looked out over the sea, and the view was even better than the online photos. The room itself was great, and the owner was friendly and really helpful. Nothing bad to say, we had a wonderful stay and I’d absolutely recommend it. There’s a decent restaurant downstairs. Bus 25 leaves from about 200 metres away, roughly once an hour between 6am and 11pm, and takes you to Split center. A ticket was 13 kunas, and we found the buses a nice way to get around. Really beautiful place.

The rooms were cleaned daily and felt welcoming, with a comfortable bed, lovely sea view, good fridge, and air conditioning. We’d recommend Apartments Rooms Porat to anyone staying around Split. Predrag was so kind and looked after us every day. When we had an excursion before breakfast, he packed us lunch to take along. He also suggested excursions and things to see in and around Stobrec. You can take the public bus for about $2CAD, which comes hourly, or a cab that costs $25 CAD to the model of Split. The food at Porat’s restaurant was delicious and well priced. One waiter even brought fresh figs and apricots from his garden. There are several other restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance.

The view is really nice, and Split is close by car. The apartment is basic, but has most of what you need.
