The host was so kind and helpful with our needs. After checkout she kept our luggage for a few hours and wouldn’t accept any payment. We really appreciated that. There was coffee, water, juice and homemade dried fruit waiting for us, too. The apartment was comfortable and very nice for our time in Split, about a 10-minute walk to the center and perhaps 20 minutes to the nearby Joker mall. Thank you so much!

The host was terrific, even helping with medication and advice when I wasn't feeling well. The room was clean and tidy, with a comfortable bed, a great shower, and all the facilities we needed. It's only about a 10-minute walk to the centre, and there's a closed private courtyard and street parking right outside. No hassle at all, just perfect.

The hilltop setting means there’s a climb, so it may not work for anyone with walking difficulties. But the location is handy, about 10 minutes from both the old town and the beach, and three minutes from a supermarket. We had a private terrace with views and peacocks passing by, plus a kitchenette, fridge, air conditioning, and a comfy bed. The bathroom is small, as the photos show, but that didn’t bother us. There’s a table and chairs indoors and out, and a wardrobe. We slept well and felt very comfortable. Vesna made us feel incredibly welcome. She sorted our airport transfers, greeted us on arrival and departure, and checked in by text during our stay. We were welcomed with two kinds of homemade liqueur, beer, juice, candied almonds, and orange peel. Since she noticed it was my 40th birthday, she also gave us a bottle of wine, and there was a parting gift too. I’ve never had a host be so generous.

Peacocks even stopped by in the morning, and the host was wonderfully friendly and helpful, with homemade gifts and a cold beer waiting for us. The apartment was spotless, had everything we needed and more, and the bed was really comfortable. It’s about 10 minutes on foot to the old city and 15 minutes to a lovely sandy beach, with the main attractions conveniently close. Loved our stay.
