We spent two nights at Villa Mak. The host greeted us and explained everything clearly. It's an easy place to reach and has what you'd need for a stay. It's beside a busy road, so be prepared for that, though the sound insulation was pretty good.

We stayed in the upstairs apartment, and the photos show it exactly as it is. I was surprised by how many amenities were provided, which made our mini break and shopping trip much easier. The location was ideal, with a bakery and bus stop right next door, plus plenty of restaurants within walking distance. I'll definitely try to book it again next time.

The owner was wonderfully friendly and helpful, arranged an airport transfer, and spoke excellent English. The apartment is very clean, comfortable and contemporary, with no nightlife nearby, though you can hear some road noise from the main road. It's ideal for a couple exploring Split who want to do a bit of self catering, with two electric rings, a fridge and basic cooking equipment. The old town and the town beach are both an easy, quick walk away. I fully recommend it.

Karlo was such a great host. He came with us to park the car, gave us all the information about the city, brought us a lunch box when we said we had to leave before 7am, and let us keep the car in the parking area after check-out. Wow! The apartment is super cute and very close to the centre. I highly recommend it.

The host, Mislav, was incredibly friendly and helpful. The place is right next to the City Center and was excellent to stay in. Highly recommended!
