We'd definitely come back. The room was comfortable, had a modern bathroom, and had everything we needed. It's right in the middle of the old town, but the sound insulation kept things quiet.

There are plenty of ways to get around, and walking through the city is easy. Split is small, so I'd look outside downtown for somewhere better and more reasonably priced. The B&B didn't match the photos on Booking.com or what we found in person. There's no elevator, and getting to it meant climbing six flights of stairs, or two floors. The building felt a bit dodgy when we came in. A homeless man was inside, going through the trash for food and bottles. Nobody helped with our luggage. Reception is only there to greet guests, then staff are reachable by SMS. They give you two keys and a room key for building access. The place is above restaurants, so there was lots of smoke. If you have allergies, the beige carpeting won't help. I wouldn't spend the money here again. It wasn't worth the hassle.

The alley's garbage bin gave the room a strangely romantic waste smell. The four windows had no blackout curtains, so anyone sensitive to light may struggle to sleep. The rooms look nicer in the pictures than they do in person. Good luck!

Marina was a wonderful host and so accommodating. My flight was delayed, and she very kindly let me check in after midnight. The room was modern, beautiful, luxurious, and well equipped, right in Split's old town. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Split, and hope I can stay again. Thank you, Marina!
