Casa Costabella

Every staff member I met was delightful, and the setting is perfect, so close to the center. The rooms are wonderful, though the building can be deceptive: it’s not really a hotel, but lovely apartments turned into luxury rooms. There’s free coffee and similar, but no breakfast. There’s no lift either, likely because of how old the building is. I’d stay here again.

The hosts were kind enough to meet us after hours when our flight was canceled and we arrived close to midnight. The place was clean and quiet, and although we may have had the smallest room, there was enough space for the two of us. It’s just a few minutes’ walk from town. We couldn’t find parking at the property and had to pay about 50 euros for a night, so I wouldn’t recommend it if you have a rental car. No complaints otherwise.

The port views from our balcony were lovely, and the ice and drinks were a thoughtful touch. We chose the place for its spot near the old town, port, and everything on our itinerary, then found it charming and seemingly new once we arrived. It was extremely clean, and the staff were warm and helpful. I’d love to return next year with friends and stay a week.

Ivana was so pleasant and available whenever we needed anything during our four nights. The hotel is small, with just a few rooms, but both our room and the lobby felt welcoming, clean, modern, and beautifully decorated. We had a perfect stay at Casa Costabella and would absolutely recommend it.
