The only snag was some traffic noise because our room faced the main street, though closing the windows took care of it. The location suited us well: it’s outside the old town, but nearby buses and other transport made getting around easy, and the quieter setting was relaxing. Breakfast was phenomenal, with both buffet and à la carte choices. Everything we tried was fresh, tasty and nicely presented. The staff were warm and attentive, and made the stay feel personal from beginning to end. We had a wonderful time at Cora Hotel and would happily return. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Split.

The Cora hotel is lovely and thoughtfully designed, with excellent facilities and a particularly good en-suite. I’d go for the cooked breakfast, which was always good. The buffet hot food wasn’t even warm in the mornings, and the constant ‘hotel music’ in the background was really annoying.

Breakfast had a huge range of choices, and the rooms were cozy, luxurious and consistently clean. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and professional, and they clearly worked to make the stay memorable. We had a really nice time and would definitely recommend it! ✨

The stay went wrong when we were checked in for two nights, then told after reaching our rooms that we could only stay one because the hotel was full. Staff recommended another hotel that turned out to be full too, and didn’t help much. For the price, that service was disappointing. If that booking mess hadn’t happened, I’d give the hotel four stars. The neighborhood is particularly inconvenient and basically impossible to walk around. The room was spotless and fairly good, though bland, as you’d expect from a modern four-star hotel. The bar is overpriced and has no non-alcoholic cocktails. Breakfast was decent with plenty of choices, but some hot dishes were mediocre.

The breakfast staff member with short dark hair deserves a mention. I didn’t get her name, but I hope the hotel can identify her from that description. She looked after me every one of the three days despite my vegan diet. They had almond, soy, coconut and oat milk, made oatmeal with alternative milk, offered plenty of fruit and even offered to prepare a salad. That was very accommodating for a boutique hotel. The welcome was friendly, and reception were helpful. Bring large bags around the parking lot to the back entrance, or you’ll have to manage the stairs. For getting around, the hotel is quite far from the old town, though an Uber cost us under €6 each time. The shopping mall across the road was handy, with a supermarket and a few places to eat. It’s on a fairly busy road, and street-facing rooms were noisy: I woke at about 4:30 AM all three nights. I’d choose the courtyard side next time. It mainly looks onto the parking lot, though from the second floor you might see the mountains and sea, as you can from the rooftop bar. I’ve attached photos that may help people choose between the views. Our room and beds were comfortable, everything was clean, and the shower was very good. Housekeeping were friendly and came as soon as we left the room, which was brilliant. The website mentioned a free bottle of wine and turndown service, neither of which we got. They provided one bottle of water on the first day. We asked to have the minibar emptied so we could keep supermarket water in the fridge, and they did it promptly. The fitness center was clean, with two treadmills, a bike and a weight machine. We didn’t use the jacuzzi or sauna because August already felt like a sauna. Once, when we came back around 10:30 PM, nobody was at reception. We could still get to the lifts without a hotel key, which the hotel said was a safety measure, and then enter our room. There’s a bolt on the inside of the room door for extra security. For the price and quality, I’d consider staying again if I return to Split.
