There are two large supermarkets and three handy bus stops nearby, which made the location useful despite putting some people off. I took the bus to the city centre every day, about a 15-minute ride, and one of the stops outside the building also got me to Klis fortress. I had a pleasant week in a private room. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles, but it does the job, and the place was very clean. The kitchen had plenty of supplies, though you’ll need to buy any seasonings you want. Ivan and his staff, Alive and Maceon, were lovely and very helpful. I recommend staying here!

The communal kitchen stood out for me, it was fully equipped and spotless. My room was clean, comfortable, well looked after, and had plenty of room for my things. The location was convenient too, near public transport, popular sights, and local places to eat. It exceeded my expectations. Whether you’re travelling alone or with a group, it’s a great hostel. I’ll definitely come back on my next trip.

Getting in and out of Split takes some figuring out, but otherwise it’s a pretty good place and quite comfortable for a hostel.

My partner and I were a bit nervous after reading the bedbug reviews, but our private double room was super clean and had no bedbugs. It also had an en-suite bathroom. They cleaned the room while we were out exploring, and the staff were lovely. We were very happy staying here.

The hostel was nice and the rooms were clean, with the cleaning staff doing a good job. It’s a little far from the centre, but all in all we had a great experience. Big regards to receptionist Josip. He was kind, knew the city well, and handled all the odd situations calmly. He was also a great laugh and always a happy chappy at reception.
