Elegnace Old Town

The place was much better than I expected: very clean, with a comfortable bed, a great shower, and a small kitchen that had everything we needed. It was well located and good value. We only stayed one night in September 2019 before heading to Brač. Our friends, who were staying nearby, booked it for us. We got to Split late and came here after a few beers with them. The one drawback was hearing people pass by late at night and early in the morning. That didn't bother us for one night, but could be an issue for a longer stay.

I wouldn't trust this place. After I booked, they called and messaged me, pressuring me to cancel voluntarily even though I didn't want to. They said the place was full, but raised the price after I cancelled, so that didn't seem true. I don't trust them.

There are a few steps in the bathroom, so this won't work for someone with a disability. The room itself is spacious and clean, with a fridge and kettle. A bakery is 10meters away and a small supermarket is 50 meters away. The apartment is on the ground floor, on a small pedestrian street close to Split's old city center, and it's a good place for a couple. Street noise, including people walking past at night, is the one downside, so bring earplugs.

The owners were very pleasant, and the accommodation was warm and clean. I'd happily recommend it, and hope to see you again!
