En Route Hostel

I've been to En Route Hostel more than once, and each stay has been great. The place has a cool, social feel, and I've met some amazing people there. The staff are welcoming and kind, too, and keep the atmosphere positive. I'd recommend it, especially to young travelers. You won't regret it.

Towels were included, and the rooms and washrooms were clean. The privacy curtains were a nice touch. It's about a 15-minute walk to the Old Town, though finding the hostel was a little tricky. The digital lockers can be noisy.

After staying at En Route Hostel several times, I came back recently for a few weeks and was glad I did. It felt like home, and I'd absolutely return. The rooms and bathrooms were among the cleanest I've seen in a hostel. Staff were friendly and helpful with local tips, and the service was amazing. It's near old town and handy for day trips to nearby islands and towns.

I liked the friendly atmosphere, and one evening I went out with people I met there. The kitchen looked clean and had what you'd need, though I didn't use it. In the 20-bed dorm, the bunks were spacious enough to stand up in, with curtains and a personal light at each bed. It's about a 15-minute walk from the Old Town, an easy distance for exploring and quiet enough for sleep. The showers were separate, clean, and always had hot water. The loud locker beeps when entering a code could bother people who are sleeping. One guest also talked loudly on the phone, made noise, and kept drying his underwear on my stairs, but that was bad luck rather than the hostel's fault. I'd recommend it for comfort, location, and a social vibe.
