The location gave us some pause. Before checking in, I saw an overflowing dumpster across the street on Google street view, so I was apprehensive about our booking. It turned out to be nothing more than an urban dumpster, and the apartment itself was lovely. We had a nearby parking lot that wasn’t too horribly expensive, and it was an easy walk to Diocletian's Palace, restaurants, and shops. The apartment was much nicer than we expected, newly renovated with high-end fixtures. It was sparkling clean and very quiet, with good water pressure, plenty of towels, a washing machine, and excellent air conditioning. Our family of five stayed in the two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment. I’d highly recommend Kaleta Apartments.

The apartment was a fully equipped studio with all the amenities you’d expect. We stayed three nights and were very happy with it. It’s right in the old town, up a level and beside a cafe we visited every day. The hostess kindly let us check in well ahead of schedule, which saved us a lot of hassle. Thanks again, Negri!

We found the attic apartment at Kaleta Apartments comfortable and especially good value. It had great new amenities, including a washer and dryer. Though it’s central to everything in Split, being on the top floor kept it quiet. This was the best place we stayed during our whole vacation in Croatia and Greece. Highly recommend!

I spent a year in Kaleta apartments in the top-floor unit and absolutely loved living there. It’s beautiful and newly renovated, with everything needed to feel comfortable for either a short visit or a long stay. Negri and her family are welcoming, wonderful hosts who’ll help with anything. The location is incredible, right in the heart of Diocletian's Palace and just steps from everything you need in Split. I’ll definitely be back!

The apartment was lovely inside, tidy, and clean, and the host was friendly and gave us all the information and directions we needed. We spent a few days in this beautiful Mediterranean town and managed to see everything on foot. The apartment’s right in the center of the old palace, an extraordinary location. We gladly recommend it.
