We had a great stay in Split, and the service was excellent and really friendly, even with the language gap. Try learning a few phrases if you can. The apartment is a little tricky to spot, but it’s in a handy area near a grocery store, the port of split, and places to eat. Google Images helped us find it: it’s down the side street beside TQC. The room feels modern, with a lovely renovated bathroom, and the aircon works really well. The kitchen has a fridge and microwave, plus we were given bottled water, instant coffee, and other amenities. The bed has sheets and a light blanket rather than a doona, and the mattress is medium-soft. A heads-up, the rooms are upstairs, so don’t make our mistake and ring the downstairs doorbell. The safe didn’t work.
