The bunk beds were so unsafe that one girl actually fell from the top during the night, and in the end we all slept on the floor. There were hardly any planks, and when I said I couldn't sleep there, the owner took one from another bed and put it in mine, then said it was stable. It was dirty too, and the shower was cold. The whole family was living on the balcony, where they slept at night. I also wonder whether this hostel is operating legally. I was told I'd only need to pay 13 Euro more, but was charged 19 Euro as a cleaning fee, and apparently people were being charged different prices. This was the worst hostel I've ever stayed in. Absolutely horrible.

We had reserved beds and paid a deposit, but when we arrived there weren't any for us. They suggested we sleep outside on pool mattresses on the terrace with 10 other people, then sent us to a different hostel about 10 minutes from the city center. We did get a bed there, though the hygiene was quite an experience too. The deposit was never returned, which was the strange part. I'd strongly suggest finding somewhere else. Split has plenty of good hostels for the same price.

The hosts were kind of nice, and the location is the one good thing about this place. Otherwise, it's a mess: the family lives in the common room, dirty laundry is all over the basic bathroom, and a little girl cries helplessly all the time. Some rooms are falling apart, and there are bedbugs in the mattresses. It's awful even for the low price. I'd only suggest it if you're coming back drunk after a night out and just need to sleep.

The only upside was being close to downtown and the bus station. Two of the three toilets were broken, and only one shower worked. The WiFi didn't exist, and the room was so cramped it was impossible to move around. There were no lockers or storage room either.

They treated you like a walking wallet, and charged for WiFi and blankets. The place was dirty and awful, with only one shower working properly for about 30 people. Even though I rented a bed, they made me sleep on the floor on a pool mattress for one day. They also rented one bed to two people for the price of two, and even one bed to four people. The photos aren't of this place. Worst hostel I've ever stayed in.
