Please stay somewhere else. I’ve never had a worse lodging experience in Europe. Before I even arrived, it took more than five phone calls and two emails to get check-in details, and then I got conflicting information and different codes. The room looked nothing like the photos. It’s directly above some kind of club, with music blaring from before 8am until after midnight and getting louder from 8pm. The bass made the room vibrate. It felt like trying to sleep inside the bar while people did karaoke after too many shots of well tequila. The crowd was sloppy, drunk, and singing badly. On top of that, someone upstairs dragged furniture across the floor all night, every night, so there was noise from all sides. I complained late on the second night and was told the bar would close by 11pm. It didn’t. Even if it had, 11pm is absurd as the time guests should expect peace. If the room is going to be a nightclub until at least then, they should say so on the website. When I arrived, the window was wide open, which seemed odd in the cold. I shut it, and within five minutes the room reeked of mould and cigarettes. Most of the smoke smell seemed to come through the bathroom vents. There were also piles of cigarette butts on the awning below the window, so it didn’t feel like a non-smoking room. A random woman in the hallway asked for my ID after the second night, after I’d complained about the constant club noise. The club is never mentioned and doesn’t appear in the pictures. It felt like the hotel only cared about following Croatian tourism authority laws and asking for guests’ personal information when they were unhappy. The room was full of things that didn’t work: the air conditioning unit, both hair dryers, the TV, half the lights, kettle, safe, and heated towel bar in the shower room. The hangers were broken and mismatched, there was a vape pen on top of the fridge, and the sheets had holes. The pool and hot tub were heavily advertised and pictured, but the pool was filthy and stone cold. I could see grime on the steps in my photos from several floors up. They didn’t say the amenities were seasonal or unavailable. The hot tub was cold, too. After the first night I asked them to heat it, and someone texted back saying they would. On the second night it was still cold. The third night the monitor showed 39 degrees, but the water was just lukewarm, so that seemed broken as well. Plenty of excuses, no solutions, and that seems to come up in other reviews too.

The bar downstairs was so loud, with music and a football match blaring, that we couldn’t even have a conversation. They should warn people about the noise beforehand. I wouldn’t come on a weekend or with kids. It might be okay for one night if you don’t need to sleep before midnight. There was no Wi-Fi for us. The folder in the room says it’s available, but it was offline or so weak our phones couldn’t find it.

The lady at the front desk was helpful when she was there, but the place wasn’t staffed often, so it was hard to get extra towels or toilet paper after we didn’t get a refresh. The rooms were mostly clean. The spa was dirty, and the walls were thin, so loud music carried through. It didn’t really bother us, but it’s worth knowing.

The huge balcony with sea views and loungers was a highlight. The pool area was small but kept very clean and was a welcome place to cool off in the summer heat. The family room was tidy, very clean, and had everything we needed, with fresh modern decor and lovely toiletries. The neighbourhood was quiet, with restaurants and the marina close by, and the beaches a few minutes’ walk away. The old town is around a 25-minute walk. A really nice apartment in Split, I’d recommend it.

Katja was a lovely host and kept checking that we were comfortable. The views from the rooftop hot tub and lounge area were beautiful, and with only a few rooms, the pool and tub felt practically private. We enjoyed our stay at luxury rooms pino and would recommend it to couples for the service, room, and views. 🌞 Our room was very spacious, with a code for entry, large sliding wardrobes, a double shower, and a heated towel rack. The Rituals toiletries were a nice touch, and the towels, including a pool beach towel, were replaced every other day. The air conditioning wasn’t working, but we did have a fan. It’s about a 30-minute walk to the city. There’s a bus stop seven minutes away, and you can buy tickets on the bus or from a machine. The machines at the stops are cheaper. There’s also a very cheap, cash-only bar/cafe next door.
