The location is ideal for visiting the tourist sites, and the reception staff were polite and helpful. After we complained, they moved us to a regular room after two nights. We hadn’t been made clear enough that the room we booked had such low headroom, and it wasn’t a cheap rate. In the attic room, over half the space wasn’t tall enough to stand in, including around the shower and toilet, so we kept banging our heads. Breakfast was pretty standard and uninspired, so I don’t understand the restaurant’s rave reviews.

The room was spacious and well cared for, and the garden area was nice. Breakfast had plenty of options and was kept well stocked. I stayed six nights after a multi-stop tour of the Balkans, and the whole team were friendly, helpful and provided brilliant service. The location is excellent.

The garden courtyard was gorgeous, and having their delicious breakfast there in the peaceful setting was a real treat. This former home is a charming place to stay, with cozy, comfortable rooms. Diocletian's Palace is just a couple of minutes away on foot, yet the hotel feels tucked away from the city's bustle. The staff were especially hospitable and helpful. When we couldn’t find a parking spot, they even offered to let us put our motorcycle in the garden.

I spent plenty of time relaxing in the courtyard, whether over breakfast, a drink, or just hanging out. The staff were friendly and offered lots of useful suggestions for places to eat and see in Split, as well as in other parts of Croatia we planned to visit. With its easy access, parking and quieter atmosphere, I think this location is a better choice than staying inside the city walls.

Free parking close to the hotel was a real convenience, though we did run into a few issues with the parking card when leaving after our stay. Nothing too serious. The hotel itself is clean, spacious and comfortable, in a fantastic spot about a 10-minute walk from the Riva. Breakfast was tasty, but the selection was limited. I’d recommend staying here in Split, especially for the free parking.
