Nirvana Luxury Rooms

The apartment had lots of space, a nice bathroom, and a huge comfortable bed. It was clean and good value, in a great spot, just two minutes from the old town and ten minutes from Marjan Park. The only thing that bothered us was a faint drain or sewage smell. We assumed it might be down to Split’s very old buildings, since we noticed it in other places too. If you book through Love Holidays, call the number on your booking reference when you arrive to arrange key collection.

The shower was really good, and the bathroom was great. The apartment is on the edge of the old town, which worked well for us. There was a little noise from the stretch on Saturday night, but nothing major, especially since we were on the third floor. Be ready to carry your suitcase up the stairs. Parking took some effort. We found a free spot behind the apartments and left the car there, though you don’t really need one to get around split. There’s no guarantee of free parking nearby. The owners rent out a garage, but it costs 15 EUR a day. The room was nicely finished and felt homey rather than bland. The bed was a little too soft for my girlfriend, and she had a hard time sleeping. I slept very well, even though I usually prefer a firm mattress.

With the roads blocked, the staff met us at a nearby parking lot after reserving a space for us. The service was outstanding. The place has just five rooms, all spacious and with the things you’d expect in a “real hotel,” though there’s no reception. The rooms are on the third floor of an apartment building. For a visit to Split, the location is perfect, literally a one-minute walk from the city centre and old town. Strongly recommended.

The location was a real bonus, with the sights right outside, and there’s a supermarket across the way. I stayed in the purple room, and the bed was so comfortable I had to make myself go out. Cleaners came every day. Inside, it was glamorous and had what I needed, tea, coffee, a TV with English movie channels, and free Wi-Fi. I didn’t meet Dora, but she was always available on WhatsApp to give advice. The outside and the walk up to the rooms didn’t make a very welcoming first impression. Getting the front door key was the main hassle, and I got abuse from other residents when I rang their doorbells. Once I had the keys, I didn’t have to rely on anyone else. There are lots of stairs and no lift, so it’s not a good choice if stairs are a problem. Make sure the keys are arranged to arrive at the right time. I’d stay again, but I wouldn’t ring the other doorbells.
