Prima Luxury Rooms

The location was good and the front desk woman was nice, so I don’t blame her. But I wouldn’t stay here again. This felt more like a hostel than a luxury place, and if that’s what I’d wanted, I could have saved money and booked a hostel. They claimed to have $12 on-site and extended parking, which turned out to be a blatant lie. It’s a busy area with only street parking, and finding a space was stressful. Because of that claim, we ended up paying $25 a day to park elsewhere. They also never sent check-in instructions, so we had to follow another guest into the building. I’ve attached a picture of the parking claim in their ad and one of the street.

I had to cancel for personal reasons and asked the property hosts for a refund, a partial refund, or even a credit for when I rebook the trip. They refused to offer anything, twice, and weren’t helpful or accommodating. I’m disappointed in the service and won’t book with them again. Just a heads-up: if you do stay, paying a bit more for free cancellation may be wise, because they won’t help if you have to cancel.

The room is nice and the location is great, but there’s very little sound insulation. I could hear conversations, text notifications, movement, pretty much everything. Reception is only open limited hours, and although I said I’d arrive early, they didn’t give me the entry code so I could leave my luggage before check-in.

The host was friendly, and the room was modern and spacious. The location was great for our three nights in Split. Still, I’m not sure I’d call the place luxury. With the streamlined room layout and its thin built-in door, we could hear other guests in the hall, so the rooms weren’t soundproof. They also told us our aircon was leaking when they showed us the room. In July, right in the middle of summer, that didn’t impress me.
