Priuli Luxury Rooms

The location is great, close to everything and still quiet. Our room was small but clean. It was hard to find the place because the signs weren’t clear. We waited a few minutes, which was okay, but the service at first felt rushed, unfriendly, and poorly explained. We put the room-cleaning sign outside the door, but later found it back inside and the room hadn’t been tidied. The towels were still on the floor. Luckily, another receptionist was around and was much friendlier, and at least got us clean, dry towels.

We liked the location just outside Split’s old town, and the local grocery store right outside the building was very convenient. Drop-off and pickup were easy. Bianca, who checked us in, was very nice. Our room was quiet and clean, the AC worked well, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom and shower were large, with good water pressure. I liked that the outside doors all used combination codes. Coffee, some cutlery, glasses, and a small but working refrigerator were available. It was very hard to find the place. The Prima sign should be bigger, or the email should explain the directions better. You need a phone and WhatsApp to communicate. It would’ve been nice to have a couple of bottles of water for the first day. Our window faced the backs of buildings, with no view of the town. The renovation could use some repairs to the corners of the walls and work on the window frames. The soap bars were so small that we needed more almost every day. There’s no elevator, and the rooms are on the upper first floor, so be ready to carry your bags. Parking was very hard to find. Don’t rent a car, just walk or use Uber or buses. The hairdryer only works while you hold down the button. There was no breakfast option, and arranging it seemed too complicated. The photos showing food and wine bottles in the rooms are misleading because Prima doesn’t provide food or wine in the rooms.

The room was fantastic, and I’d definitely stay again. It’s on a corner in the main city centre, so you can walk to everything. A little pricey, but worth it for the quality and location, especially in peak season. They were also happy to hold my bags while I went sightseeing after checkout, which I really appreciated.

I had a room with a king bed, which was very comfortable. There’s free coffee and tea every morning, and the staff were lovely and quick to respond to what we needed. The location is good, just a few steps from Split’s old town, and a taxi can drop you right outside the building. The apartment is one and a half floors up, with no elevator. If you’re traveling in Croatia, you should get used to the stairs.
