The room worked well for our one-night stop after a late flight into Split. The castle, market, and pier are all an easy walk away, and there’s free weekend parking nearby, which suited our rental car. Good value for a short stay. I wouldn’t choose it for kids or elderly travelers: the staircase is tight, there’s no lift for the two floors, and the rooms are fairly small.

The rooms were shabby and dirty, and the service was horrible. After checking out 30 minutes early, I realized I’d left some large chocolate bars behind. I went back just 10 minutes later, but they were gone. I can’t say for sure what happened, but I felt my things had been stolen. Damira seemed interested only in money. The apartment is on the second floor, with very narrow, steep stairs that make carrying luggage difficult. Loud music nearby and constant banging on the door kept me awake all night. The area didn’t feel good, and I wouldn’t feel very safe arriving late. Find somewhere better if you don’t want to feel cheated.

The room was clean and basic, and the location is handy for the bus station and harbour. For one night, it’s fine. Just know the apartment is on the second floor, which is awkward with heavy bags, and the hair dryer is old and sticky.

I wouldn’t recommend this place. The rooms are so small it’s hard to move around, and they weren’t cleaned at all before we checked out, which felt unhygienic. It’s up on the second floor with no lift and a very narrow, uncomfortable staircase. Also, don’t leave chocolates behind. We didn’t get ours back, and it made me wonder what else we’d need to watch out for.
