Rooms Oasis Life

We chose the hotel because it was close to a beach, but it was closed for construction while we were there. I'm not sure whether it will reopen or become part of the construction site. The hotel itself was clean, with very friendly staff and a good breakfast, freshly prepared throughout the morning. One issue was the smell of smoke. Staff took smoke breaks outside reception, right by our sliding doors to the pool area, and people also smoked in the apartments upstairs. You could smell it when entering the hotel, and with a toddler it wasn't ideal to leave the back door open. The beach situation wasn't the hotel's fault.

We had a good time here. The staff were friendly and helpful, parking was free, and breakfast was good. The pool area was quiet.

The pebble beach was lovely, with crystal clear water, and only a five minute walk away. The old town was too far for us to walk in the heat, about 50 minutes, but Ubers were reasonably priced. At first the location seemed strange, but we ended up really liking the place. The pool and loungers were great, the room was fab, and the air conditioning was quiet. Breakfast was lovely, and the jacuzzi was lively. We briefly tried the sauna but didn't use the gym. The staff were very helpful.

We'd just checked out of Oasis Life to catch our flight back to the UK after a lovely stay. The hotel and our modern room were clean and smelled fresh, and the bed was very comfortable. We especially liked the shower room and took photos for ideas for our own house. Everyone on staff was polite and friendly. A gentleman picked us up from the airport and chatted about life in Croatia and coming to the UK to watch football. He also gave us some good suggestions, including Konoba Dalmatino, a lovely restaurant about a 10 minute walk away with everything you'd want. We really enjoyed Split and had a peaceful, relaxing time by the hotel's pool. I'd definitely recommend it.
