This is a small hotel, with only a handful of rooms, so check-in isn’t available around the clock. Contact them with your arrival time, especially if you’ll be late, so they can arrange for someone to be there. They may also be able to offer early check-in. We stayed for a week in April and found the price very affordable for what we got. The hotel is in a newer building near the old town, with big windows and a fresh, modern look. From the 14th floor there’s a beautiful view. The room had a king-size bed, mini fridge, smart TV, wardrobe with hangers and shelves, large desk, kettle, and two chairs. There was plenty of natural light, and the lighting was good. The bathroom was spacious enough, with a nice walk-in shower.

The bay and palace are just a 5-10 minute walk away, and the modern bathroom and spacious, very clean room made for a great stay. Housekeeping came daily. The bed could have been a little more comfortable, but the location and everything else made up for it. Highly recommend.

I’ve never had a worse service experience. We were supposed to check out before 10 a.m., but hadn’t noticed that information in the email. At 10:02, the cleaning lady told us, and when I asked for 15 minutes because we weren’t ready to leave immediately, she yelled that we had a maximum of five minutes. I said that wasn’t possible. She then said she would charge us for another day. When I reminded her that we were her clients and asked her to speak politely, she said we had been her clients until 10 a.m., but not anymore. Her behavior was very unprofessional, and it’s a pity that an employee can spoil the impression of such a beautiful place. I don’t want to be treated like that, so I’ll never return. Maybe the service is better at the other apartments in the same building.

A handy supermarket is just across the road, and it’s a lovely base for visiting old town Split.
