Spalato Luxury Rooms

We had a good stay at Spalato Luxury Rooms, though getting around the building was a bit of a challenge. The staircase is steep and very narrow, which made carrying heavy bags difficult, especially with a baby in a stroller. At night, we could hear tourists on the street, and our window faced another building just about a meter away, so it wasn’t sunny or pleasant to look out. The rooms were clean and nice. Some of those downsides come with the building’s location and layout and may be hard to change, but accessibility was the main hiccup for us.

The location was perfect, and the room AC worked really well. The rooms and beds were small, though, and the shower flooded. We also ran out of hot water several times. Paying was a major hassle since they wouldn’t take credit or debit cards.

The location is incredible, and that’s really what you’re paying for. Our room was clean and nice, but very small, and not being able to pay by credit card was frustrating.

The location was hard to beat, with nearly everything just a few minutes away on foot. I was surprised they cleaned the room during our two-night stay, so we came back to fresh towels and sheets. There’s Netflix on the TV too, which was a nice extra. The shower had great pressure and didn’t spill over, though the hot water could run out before you finished. The room was cute, and my husband loved the beds, which were a little softer than I prefer. Finding the hotel took some effort since it’s tucked behind a restaurant. We walked around in circles until someone pointed us in the right direction. The host who showed us the room was incredibly friendly, pulled out a map, and suggested places to eat and visit. I’d happily stay here again.
