There’s construction right beside the place, with drilling into stone and cutting reinforcement going on all day. You can’t really spend time on the balcony enjoying the view, so avoid it unless hammering and angle grinder noise doesn’t bother you.

For most of the day, the room, balcony, hotel grounds, and even the nearby beach are affected by noise and vibration. A large, active construction site is only 20-30 meters from the hotel, and heavy rock drilling starts around 7:00 a.m. each morning and carries on until late afternoon. Keep this in mind if you’re hoping for a quiet, relaxing holiday.

I loved the little garden, and there are two nice cats around. Outside music is loud, which I happen to like. It’s a small, new hotel on a great stretch of the new promenade Žnjan, with nice beaches nearby. Service was great and breakfast was nice. My room had a perfect view, even from the bed, and beach towels were free to use. Just right for the kind of vacation I wanted.

What made our stay feel so welcoming was the staff. They were always smiling, kind, and ready to help, and every question or request got a friendly response. Talking with them added to the homely feel, almost like being at good friends’ doorstep. The sea view was beautiful, and it was hard to pull ourselves away from it. Breakfast each morning smelled delicious, had plenty of choice, and tasted great. Our room was spacious, clean, and well kept, with a large bottle of relaxing-scented shower gel in the bathroom, a thoughtful little touch. The hotel is close to the beach, restaurants, and attractions, while still feeling peaceful. On-site parking was a big help in Split. We left smiling with lovely memories, and I wholeheartedly recommend it for a seaside break.
