Jelena is lovely to deal with and easy to reach, and the location is handy for downtown, groceries, and supermarkets. The WiFi signal was strong all day and night, and there are two adorable cats to pet if you're a cat person. The apartment could use quite a bit of improvement. We found a large spider on the bathroom wall when we arrived, dust around the toilet, a rusty mark on one towel, and a little cat fur on a blanket. We had to do some cleaning ourselves. The bigger issue was the shower drain: it was blocked, so water pooled while showering. We told the owner and got a response that the shower had a problem, but nothing was done afterward. Sound carries badly between the bathrooms, too. We could hear noises that made it seem like someone was in ours, even when nobody was there and the lights were off. It gave the place a haunted-house feeling.

The owners were so warm and ready to help whenever we needed anything. We had a great time there, and the apartment was excellent. Would recommend.

The owner was incredibly welcoming and clearly wanted us to feel at home. The bungalow-style apartment is at street level, entered from a pedestrian street across the terrace shared with the apartment where the owner lives. It has free Wi-Fi, bedroom air conditioning, a kitchen with a ceramic hob, microwave and fridge, plus a washing machine in the bathroom. Nearby there are lots of places to eat and shop. The old town is about a 30-minute walk or a 10-minute Uber ride. I took off a star for two small issues. The bed's footboard made it hard for me to stretch out and sleep, since I'm 6'6" (2 meters) tall, and I stayed four days. The water heater is small, so hot water runs out quickly. Apart from that, it's a very nice place if you aren't after luxury, especially with the air conditioning. I'd gladly rent it again.

We stayed for a week and would happily come back. The apartment was tidy, very clean, well equipped, and nicely put together. It’s on the ground floor of a residential building, with a lovely little garden out front where we had coffee every morning. The owner was kind and always available when we needed something. Cafes, restaurants with good food, and two supermarkets are close by, while the beach is about a 15-minute walk away. We were very satisfied and recommend it.
